Wii Points are the official currency which Nintendo Wii uses for payments in the Wii Shop Channel. Wii Points can be spend on a variety of Wii items like downloadable wii games, virtual console games, applications called Wii Ware and fun stuff for you Wii console in the Wii Shop.

After buying your Wii points you will find at the backside of the Wii Points Card a concealed strip, when you scratch it, you will find your personal Wii points card number.

Navigate to the Wii Shop Channel menu, by pointing your wii remote at the Wii Shop Channel from the Wii Menu and select (A). Choose Add Wii Points and enter the Wii points activation number from your Wii Points Card and the proper amount Wii Points are automatically added to your user account.
